Experience of using: Less than a month
Pros: Easy to load
Cons: Not durable, Unreliable.
I really hoped that this dishwasher will last for long. But how wrong was I! We owned it for about 14 months. During the first year we had to repair the rack. Not so long ago the control panel died. Warranty has expired and it is too expensive to repair it...
Experience of using: Less than a month
Pros: Cleans well, Energy efficient, Quiet, Stylish look.
I got this dishwasher about three weeks ago and since then I used it only six times. It is very quiet and I can hardly tell whether it is running or not! I am impressed! Dishes come out absolutely clean and there is no rinsing. Just great! I also like the lights that tell you when the cycle is finished, because I can't hear it at all!
Experience of using: Few months
Pros: Well-advertised
Cons: Doesn't clean thoroughly, Noisy, Poorly built.
We had other KitchenAid appliances that worked for over 20 years and that's why we considered KitchenAid to be a quality brand. But this dishwasher disappointed us! It is overpriced, because the quality doesn't corresponds the money paid. It is much louder, than we had supposed. In addition the dishes don't always come absolutely clean. Previously we had a dishwasher from another brand, it was cheaper, but it cleaned the dishes much better. Every time you open the door, the unit makes terrible noise! It is unbearable! Door hinges are too deep inside, so in order to oil them, we have to take apart the whole dishwasher.
I don't think that I will buy other KitchenAid products in the future!
Experience of using: Few months
Pros: Cleans well, Convenient in use, Energy efficient, Quiet, Simple controls, Stylish look.
I owned KitchenAid dishwasher for about 15 years and when it stopped working, we bought this one. It is very quiet! With our old unit we used to start it when we went to bed, but with this one we can watch TV or sit and talk close to it. Great! It also does a really good job at cleaning!
