Pros: Heats up quickly, High powered burners, Instant heat, Low simmer, Modern style, Well-designed.

During our kitchen remodeling we upgraded all our kitchen appliances and all of them are from Thermador. This cooktop is one of them. I love it! The unit is reasonably-priced, powerful, cooks quickly, slow simmer is very useful and in general the design of the device is great! I read various reviews about this cooktop and there are pretty many negative ones, but I don't understand why. Maybe other users have some older version, because mine is just outstanding!

I will stay away from this brand in the future and I advise you to do the same.

When you pay a fortune for home appliance, you hope to get high quality, but this product is far less. We used it for a bit more than a year. During the first year everything was fine and we didn't have any problems at all. But as soon as the warranty expired, the problems began. I can't say that cooktop itself is a lemon, because it is not true, but its parts are cheap and that is the problem. In the beginning we tried to fix the issues, but parts are too expensive and service fees are too high. It is much easier and advantageously to buy a new device, than repair this one. Of course company customer support is useless and they don't provide any help after the warranty term. Be warned! Avoid it!

I owned this Thermador cooktop for about seven years and after that the unit died. Completely. I tried to find the necessary parts, but the company doesn't offer them anymore. Moreover repair is rather expensive.

Well, for the money paid, I hoped that it will last longer. Besides I hoped to get some support from Thermador, for example the parts... It is a real waste of money, believe me.
