Functional cook top
M. Denny, 01/27/2013
Experience of using: Few months

Pros: High powered burners, Large surface area, Precise controls.

Cons: Hard to clean.

This cooktop is good for different tasks, starting with wok and ending up with standard cooking. However cleaning is not so easy, as I would like it to be. The burner rings are stain badly and they can't be cleaned without scratching.

Pro cooktop!

Experience of using: About 6 months

Pros: Easy to clean, High powered burners, Modern style, Reliable, Simple controls.

I use this cooktop often, because I am a professional cook. I do love the 20 BTU burner and I can easily call it “terrific”!

I did some research before buying and considered various SS models. For this price, this KitchenAid product was the best one and quality turned out to be very high! I am absolutely satisfied not only with the performance, but also with the look of the device. After about 6 months of daily use it still looks like new.

I also got a KitchenAid downdraft system in stainless steel, to pair it with my cooktop, and together they look amazing. Both units do a really good job and they keep my kitchen cool and quiet. Great investment!

Very decent cooktop

Experience of using: Less than a month

Pros: Easy to clean, Heats up quickly, High powered burners, Large surface area.

I replaced my old 15-year-old Dacor cooktop with this KitchenAid product and I am fully satisfied. Finally I have an even and high-powered heat! Middle burner is great, very versatile. They can be used as a simmer burner and then turned out into a really hot and large one.

I am still learning how to use it and have some little problems with heat adjustment, but this will be solved within some time.
