Pros: Good lighting, Reasonably priced.

Cons: Low speed settings are too weak

This Broan range hood model is well-designed and it looks great in my kitchen. Halogen lights are bright. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is a weak exhaust fan. Lower speed settings are absolutely inefficient.

In general the hood is nice, but it seems to me that the company pays too much attention to the appearance of the products, but not their functionality. At least with this model.

Lower speed settings are not really efficient, because even if you boil water and select one of the lowest settings, the condensation will gather around the lights and then fall in drops on the cooking surface. The next thing is the noise level: the hood is not so quiet, as advertized. Dual lighting system is very nice and useful, and the style of the appliance is really nice.

This is the cheapest vent that I have found in the market and in general I am very pleased with the choice. This hood works great and it removes odors and smoke effectively and quickly. Bulbs provide lots of light and they are really well-thought. Fan is pretty quiet. For this price it is the best choice.

The appearance of the unit is very attractive. Installation was simple and quick. There are several lighting settings and fan speed settings – very handy. Highest fan speed is very effective and it removes all the steam and smell out of the kitchen. Lights are bright and they easily brighten all cooking area.

The price was very nice, so I am totally satisfied with the purchase.
