Reviews
Experience of using: Few months
Pros: Convenient features, Easy to clean, Easy to use, Good lighting, Quiet.
I am absolutely pleased with this range hood from Broan. It is quiet and efficient, as it easily removed smells, odors and smoke out of my kitchen. Lights are bright. I am sure that you won't be disappointed!
Experience of using: Few months
Rule “two heads are better than one” is definitely this case. There is only one fan on the left side, so the unit doesn't do the job properly. If you cook on the right side, then unit's efficiency is reduced to the minimum. My old hood had two fans on both sides and it performed better.
Experience of using: About 6 months
Pros: Convenient features, Good lighting, Powerful.
Cons: Heat sentry
The presence of various features and settings makes this Broan hood one of the best ones in the market. The item is almost noiseless and you can hardly hear it running. Turbo setting is a bit noisier, of course, but still it is one of the quietest among other models. Lighting is very bright, especially the highest setting.
Heat sentry is a bit annoying, because it switches the unit on automatically, when it “feels” heat from the cooktop, and you can't turn it off.
Experience of using: About 6 months
Pros: Convenient features, Good lighting, Quiet.
Cons: Poor documentation, Weak fan.
This Broan model is equipped with only one fan that is mounted on the left side, so the performance on the right side is much more weaker. This is a problem for us, because our largest burner is located on that side.
There are several very nice functions, but power output could be better. Lighting is bright and it is very handy, when you cook. In general the unit operates smoothly and almost noiselessly. Dimming option and several fan speed settings are really nice.
Users manual is confusing and it wasn't useful during the installation. Ducted and non-ducted installations are mixed and that's why it is somewhat confusing. Broan should pay attention to that.
