It's a great fridge except dispenser part. You have to keep your glass close and high because otherwise ice will fly to the floor. This fridge has good temperature control. It is very quiet. Personally I don't see any reasons to not buy it. Dispenser is a kind of problem but it works, while in other models will get broken fast.

We really loved this Whirlpool, but before we started using it we replaced it 3 times. Every time fridge came damaged, with scratches. One time there was even crack in the door, which definitely came from factory and wasn't a fault of delivery men. All my relatives use Whirlpool units and are happy with them, so this occasion was a surprise for us. Anyway now we are using it and the quality of construction can't make us happy in spite of other good features. Staff of Whirlpool was really helpful and didn't delay to get back to us and to help.

In the beginning I bought French door, which I didn't like and thanks to policies I could return it and chose this side-by-side model instead. I'm very happy with my choice as this fridge is much more efficient.

Whirlpool side-by-side seemed more attractive in characteristics and price than other similar fridges in the store close to my home, so I went for you. Honestly, I don't regret even for 1 dollar spent for it. It takes time to get used for it if you never had such model before but it's very convenient. I understood how to use digital panel even without reading manual. I recommend this unit to everyone.

Cons: Loud ice-maker

I like side-by-side fridges. This one is double capacity compared to my old unit. I got used for stainless steel and cope with fingerprints fast. But you have to be careful to avoid scratches. This surface is sensitive. I like shelves and adjusted some of them according to my needs. I can complain about noisiness of ice-maker, but this unit has many advantages that are worth more attention than noise. It's a reliable device with convenient dispenser.

My old fridge broke 3 times within one year and I'm really pleased with this side-by-side fridge. I like its design and performance. It's a very quiet machine. Kids love dispenser feature.
