Pros: DVD up-conversion, Great picture quality.

Cons: Flimsy construction, Poor customer support, Slow response time, Unreliable.

I owned this Blu-Ray player for about 7 months and everything was fine, for the first time. Yes, it starts and loads the discs slowly, but it played back DVD and Blu-Ray well and dvd up-conversion was excellent as well. Amazon and Netflix video streaming was really good and I was very pleased with the choice. However these days the unit started to make some strange noises, while loading discs and no matter what type of disc it was. After trying to recognize it, player returns me it and shows an error. I tried more than twenty discs and nothing changes.

Of course I contacted LG support and they told me that the unit should be taken to the service center. First I thought that the company's warranty will cover all the expenses, but it was valid only for the first 3 months, since the day of the purchase. Now I have to pay for everything by my own. I didn't use this machine so often and now it need to be repaired! I will never purchase LG products in the future and I advise everyone to stay away from this player. Choose the other model and the other brand! Save your money.
