Panasonic NNSD291S

Pros: Attractive design, Large capacity, Powerful.

Cons: Doesn't last, Hard to see display, Noisy, Poorly built, Unreliable.

Purchased this unit and had it installed in August 2013 with outside venting (since the venting was already there from a previous unit). Now the microwave turns off after 5 seconds or so and the only feature we can use is the fan. Now have to wait for someone to come and look at it. Thank goodness it's still under warranty! Not impressed at all.

We owned this microwave over for about four years and then it died. We didn't use it that often, but the circuit board burned out. The price for the repair is too high and it will be more wisely to buy a new unit. It worked well, while it worked, but fan was too loud.

It was one of the most expensive microwaves on the market and I really thought that it would last longer.

Cons: Unreliable

First Panasonic had worked for about four years. I liked the performance and look, so I got the second one. It lasted for 3 years and then displayed error “h97”. I think that reliability is not their strong point. In general this model does a really good job at cooking.

Cons: Dim clock/timer lighting

I bought this Panasonic NNSD291S about two months ago and I am very pleased. I don't know what people may not like about this model, as it includes excellent features and besides it looks great!

Convenient controls are responsive and quick. The exhaust fan may seem to be a bit loud, in comparison with some other models, but still it does a really good job. So a little noise is not a problem.

One small thing that I would change is clock/timer lighting. It is a bit dim for me.
