Pros: easy to use, powerful, attractive design, useful features

Cons: not enough power

We remodeled our kitchen about 2 years ago and it was rather hard to choose the rather hard to choose the right appliances for this and that. In the end we chosen this GE unit and we are very happy about that. It is perfect for us. It easily accommodates a dinner plate and a mixing bowl, without mentioning the rest of the stuff.

I would like to note that this device is extremely easy to use. The features are convenient and general operation is almost intuitive. Express cook is very useful for reheating, defrosting and making a popcorn. The most notable thing about this device is that it doesn't start cooking meat, during defrosting, like a little more powerful models.

For the period of usage we didn't have any problems with this microwave. It runs perfectly.

Pros: auto defrost, sensor touch, attractive look, compact

Cons: not durable at all

I bought it because of the size and new stainless steel kitchen. Now I think that I was wrong! The unit gives off a terrible smoking smell, when it is in use. Obviously we won't use it any longer.

Pros: size, nice features

Cons: poorly designed, peeling pain, poor customer service

I made a great mistake, when I bought this microwave! It has peeling paint not just inside the door, but also on the back wall as well. The customer service was not helpful.

We bought this unit, because it fitted out space perfectly. But we won't repeat this mistake once again.

Pros: sleek design, useful functions

Cons: not suitable for under cabinet mounting

This is a good microwave that does everything, what it is supposed to do. Has stylish look too. Didn't fit under cabinet properly and so disturbs general look.

Pros: easy in use, convenient, stylish, functional

I have had this model for about a year and it works well. It is easy to clean and it looks good. The best thing in it is a one-touch start.

Cons: unreliable, poorly built

The quality of this GE microwave is extremely low! I have never owned a more unreliable unit in my life.

Since the first day, when we took this unit out of the box and plugged it in and till today we have had problems for all the time. The first problem was that after cooking something, it ding and shut down itself. The temperature during running was so hot that it wasn't possible to touch it. The worst thing was the smell. It smelled of burning varnish so terribly, that we had to open all the doors and windows.

Of course I took it to the GE repair center and today they called me and told that it was not repairable. This is still not the end...

Pros: powerful, shorkeys that save time, well-designed

There was a small problem with the door latch cover, but it was solved by the service under the warranty. This was my only disappointment. I had seen the same problem while reading reviews, prior buying. Unfortunately they haven't solved it before my purchase.
