This cooktop works great and we have been absolutely pleased with our choice, but until the moment when one of us nicked the glass surface corner. This caused some cracks on the surface. We contacted GE company, to find out the cost of the replacement and were shocked! $750 for glass only, plus labor. This is the cost of a new cooktop!

Pros: Modern style.

Cons: Design flaw, Expensive repair, Not durable, Poor customer support, Unreliable.

As soon as this cooktop was installed, I was really impressed. It was just beautiful and worked well. But during first two weeks of use, glass surface started to crack. Customer support is absolutely useless and the replacement and service cost too much.

In this way I want to warn all the customers, who are going to buy this GE cooktop: please, save your time and money, find another choice!

I am absolutely pleased with appearance and operation of this cooktop. I chose stainless steel and didn't miss. The unit was pretty easy to install, it looks amazing in my kitchen and moreover it is not so hard to keep it clean.

Knobs look sturdy and reliable. They are well-designed and placed in the right position. Burners are spill-proof and efficient, especially the largest one.

Not so long ago we bought a stainless steel range hood, as a pair to this cooktop, and they look great together. It works much better than downdraft stove that we had had before. Much more efficient.

I would definitely buy this device again and lately one of my friends bought this cooktop too. They are happy as well.

Pros: Easy to clean, Modern style, Precise controls, Simple controls, Versatile performance, Well-designed.

Design is very sleek and attractive. Gas burners on glass surface look great, perfect combination. Smooth top is very easy to clean. Controls are convenient and good. Grates are heavy.
