Learn more about HP Projectors

Hewlett-Packard is a reputed electronics manufacturer with over 50 years of experience and dozens of customers all over the globe. In this review we’ll dwell on different types of projectors manufactured by HP, their advantages, features and distinctions.

Some devices are based on DLP (digital light processing) technology, while others operate by means of 3-chip LCD (liquid-crystal display) system. They can come with XGA (1024x768) and SVGA (800x600) resolution. Prices for these units vary depending on their technical characteristics and specifications.

Brightness output of HP projectors varies between 800 and 3500 lumens. Some models come with HDMI input and built-in speakers for convenient and pleasant viewing. There are units with wireless LAN connection opportunity. Usually lamp lifespan lasts for about 2000 hours, though there are projectors which have eco-mode option that will extend lamp operation up to 4000 hours.

Unfortunately, HP company doesn't manufacture devices with 3D-format support, but there are advanced models with wide video connectivity: PAL, SECAM, NTSC. Some appliances have lens shift feature. Weight of projectors is also different (from 4 to 8 lbs), which can be an important criteria for those people, who travel a lot. HP doesn’t have equal warranty conditions for its products. Some of them get 1 year warranty for part and labor, while others come with 2 or 3 years warranty. So this fact should be considered before the purchase.
